Volume 16
Perhaps the key to success is not having more.
Volume 16 Letter From the Editor:
At The Art Of, we’re committed to bringing innovative thinking and varying business perspectives to the forefront. Most recently we’ve been fascinated by the work of Rice University Professor Scott Sonenshein. In his new book Stretch,he examines why some people and organizations succeed with so little, while others fail with so much.
The vast majority of businesses that we speak with on a daily basis describe success as having ‘more’. More money. More time. More employees. More reach. More likes. More followers. Perhaps ‘more’ is part of the problem, not the solution.
According to Sonenshein, you already have all of the tools you need to succeed, you just need to stretch. It can be incredibly freeing to stop worrying about what you don’t have and rather focus on leveraging what you already have in more effective and gratifying ways.
