Why Leaders are so Crucial

Leadership is crucial because it’s so easy to burn up time, energy, money and people’s attention in ways that aren’t productive. You need a leader who’s going to say “this is what needs to be done” and sometimes, it’s just do something – have a vision, work towards something. There might be a lot of right answers, but if you’re leaderless then there can be a bunch of different people doing different things and it ends up not adding up to anything. But, a leader can make sure that time, money, energy and attention are being directed toward some fruitful outcome, so that there’s not a lot of waste.
